Course Reflective

Here my thought and what I learn in professional communication LSEC-N307. in this course we learn how we communicate in work and it's advance course for communication skills was about learn how we communicate with people in normal life and basic days.

first off all, I learned and improve my skill in writing the CV I was wrote it in fancy way it was full of color and unnecessary information and not organize work but I after I took this work I learned how to make the important information is visible. Then we learn how to do meeting and it was very helpful for me know I can mange do meeting in work and I can write minute of meeting and how we must has an agenda  before we start or call for meeting. finally I learned how to work for a project with a group and understand that i must finish my part on time and how i must keep connect with my partners and motivate them to work and don't left the work behind and the must important skill I learned it's how to present my work I talk with front of people know I can use this skill front of my managers and don't have any fear and how I can mange to give them the right information and make them understand it.

My biggest challenge is how could I improve this skill is the managers will understand my skill. To improve my skill I must take more courses and learn from people whose have this skill.

At last I want thank Mr. Gregory Vrhovnik to teach us this course he is really has big knowledge and knows what he talk about it. Thank you again Mr. Gregory Vrhovnik I hope to take more courses with you.

Self Reflection

Self Reflection

We had meeting on 31th October 2012 at W104. We start the meeting late because one of our members came late so we start at 14:40 and finished at 15:00. We are 4 members (Ahmed Al Suwaidi was the chair of the group, Khmais and me were the participants and Abdullah Ibrahim was the minutes taker. The teacher gave us the topic about Emiratization at that time so we had 5 min’s to organize the agenda for the meeting.

Ahmed introduced the topic above, at the first we looked at the problems why the
Emirates find the job at the privet companies and even why privet companies doesn’t want to hire the emirates to their companies. The problem of some Emirates they doesn’t finish their studies and they don’t want to start their work from the bottom of the career ladder they always want to start from managerial position and want higher salary, on another hand the company think or has stereotype that the Emirates not hard worker and they are lazy. After that we talked about the solution about this problems so we put searching plan about this problems and there one solution that we go to privet companies and tell them try to take some high GPA’s student to have summer work with theme and we go and encourages the student work with privet companies and tell them in privet companies they have fastest opportunity to get higher position in privet company than the government company. At the finish Ahmed organize the group and give us what we need to do and set the next meeting.

All in all, the meeting was help me to know how to organize the meeting in short time and it will help me in my real life.
